"I just wanted to tell you good luck, we're all counting on you" Leslie Nielsen dead at 84

A Canadian comedy legend and a slapstick genius, Leslie Nielsen, is sadly dead at 84. He was admitted a few days ago at Fort Lauderdale Hospital due to pneumonia and his family had hoped  he would recover. The man was the face behind Police Squad and eventually, the Naked Gun films and provided many laughs for me during my childhood, he had a short revival in the Scary Movie sequels with the help of the Zucker brothers but he will be most remembered for his comedic turns in some of the best comedies of the 70's and 80's.
The man is up there with John Belushi, Roger Dangerfield, Chevy Chase and Bill Murray with the kings of big screen comedy, but whilst Chevy is still going strong in Community, it was sad seeing Nielsen put in crap in the 90's and eventually fade away, but if you've never seen any of his films, you have not truly laughed. He will be missed dearly.
