A Toxic Remake

Apparently what the world needs is another Toxic Avenger film.
Not proper education, financial stability or a good family home, but a reboot of a film franchise known specifically for it's child murdering, flammable stunt men and nudity.

Whilst there is a place and time for film's like Toxic Avenger, I feel like doing a reboot would be in vain of what the original set out to do. It was a low-budget gross-out horror film, we've come to the evolutionary stage of horror films where it turns out found footage or gore'em ups are really where it's at, as Blair Witch, Saw and Paranormal Activity (and to a greater combined extent The Poughkeepsie Tapes). Doing a Toxie film may be a bad investment, but I guess with the right people, the right money, it could do quite well, especially on horror film festival circuits.
